Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, has reconciled with Rochas Okorocha, a former Governor of the State.
The reconciliation comes ahead of the November Gubernatorial election and the growing influence of the Labour Party in the State.
The duo have been at loggerheads since the Supreme Court proclaimed Uzodimma as the winner of the 2019 election in 2020.
A former Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government ment, Uche Nwosu, had urged the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umar Ganduje, to reconcile aggrieved party members or the party may lose the election.
Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, will flag off the campaign of Senator Athan Achonu, the party’s candidate, next month.
Nwosu, during his courtesy call on Ganduje at the APC Secretariat in Abuja, urged the National Chairman to carry everyone along and to bring harmony to the party.
