Its jubilation galore for Labour Party supporters and loyalists in Abia State following the victory of Alex Otti at last Saturday’s polls.
Raye24reporters reported earlier that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday declared Otti as the winner of the Abia State governorship election.
Otti, polled 175,467 votes to defeat Okey Ahiwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 88,529 votes.
Alex Otti is now the 4th democratically elected of the State and the first candidate to be governor from a political party that’s not PDP since 1999.
