President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday made it a Sallah to remember for some of the residents of Daura his home town as they excitedly lined the streets to cheer him as he made his way back to his residence.
President Buhari joined other Muslim faithful in the country to observe the Eid prayers in his home town of Daura, Katsina State.
After the prayers, the President decided to trek back to his residence from the Eid grounds and many of the townspeople lined the streets to cheer him as he walked.
Though surrounded by a large team of security operatives for protection and safety, Buhari as he walked along the streets acknowledged the shouts and cheers from residents of his home town.
