The Bayana Bayana of South Africa, has defeated Super Falcons of Nigeria’s to a in their opening match at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
Both teams played in the first half, with the Banyana Banyana being the better side.
The Super Falcons dominated the opening exchanges in the second half but fell behind a minute after the hour mark.

The Banyana Banyana were two goals up two minutes later courtesy of a fine strike by Hildah Magaia.
The Super Falcons reduced the deficit late in the game through Rasheedat Ajibade.
