Wike, G-5 Governors Return to Nigeria, Speak on PDP Chairmanship Position

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has insisted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national chairmanship position must come to the Southern part of the country.

Raye24reporters report that the PDP national chairmanship position is currently occupied by Iyorchia Ayu, who hails from Benue State, in the North Central geopolitical zone of the country.

Wike, however, insisted on Friday during the commissioning of a project in his state that Ayu’s position must be occupied by a Southerner.

Wike and other aggrieved governors of the popularly known as the G-5 arrived in Port Harcourt on Friday after their trip to London.
