The family of the National Diploma Certificate holder who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon to commit suicide has been confirmed dead.
Rey24 earlier reported that the young man identified as Lekan Odunare was captured in a video sitting on the rails of the bridge. Before jumping, he was asked why he was taking such a drastic decision to end his life but he remained silent.
A member of the family who has demanded to remain anonymous disclose to Punch on Thursday that the body of the deceased had been found.
However, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, has said that he is yet to confirm the incident.
An official of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has also maintained that no update has been received concerning the incident.
