The Kano State Command of Hisbah has confirmed the arrest of five young men for allegedly engaging in homosexual act.

Confirming the arrest to newsmen, the state Commander General of the Board, Dr. Harun Ibn-Sina in the statement issued by the public relation officer, Malam Lawal Ibrahim, stated the the arrests were made owing to the reports from residents living in the area.
