Breaking: DSS Arrests Wanted Oyo Motorpark Boss, Auxiliary

The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly apprehended Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, the embattled chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS).

In May 2023, Auxiliary was taken into custody following allegations that his supporters were planning to disrupt the peace in the state after the dissolution of the PMS committee by Governor Seyi Makinde.

Auxiliary was nabbed at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, around 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

According to reports, Auxiliary’s arrest came after he criticized Seye Famojuro, an ally of Makinde, during an interview on May 4, accusing him of orchestrating his troubles.

Speaking in Yoruba to media personnel Ajibola Akinyefa, Auxiliary indicated that he and Makinde would continue to stay in Ibadan while implying that Famojuro would return to Ijesha, his hometown.

A source revealed that the police swiftly intervened to prevent potential chaos in the state by making some arrests and seizing weapons, which were reportedly intended for troublemakers linked to Auxiliary’s camp.
