The lawmaker representing
Lavun, Mokwa, Edati Federal Constituency of Niger State, Mr. Joshua Audu Gana has congratulated Nigerian workers as they celebrate Workers Day.
He commended Nigerian workers for being hard working and resilient even I’m the face of the current hardship being experienced in the country.
Mr. Gana also said that he supports the call for the increase in the salaries of workers to enable them to meet their needs following the the price hikes across Nigeria.
” On this year’s occasion of Workers Day, I salute the industry, creativity, resilience and productivity of Nigerian Workers. May our labour be rewarded here on earth and in heaven above”. Mr Gana said.
The lawmaker also praised exemplary leadership of the organised Labour led by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) for their struggles aimed at improving the lives of the workers.
Mr. Gana also congratulated the number worker in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, the Niger state governor, Mr. Umar Bago, the Leadership of National Assembly, the Speaker House of Representatives, the Senate President, Clerk of National Assembly, the Chairman National Assembly Service Commission and all National Assembly Staff.”for working hard to build a great Nigeria and Niger state, respectively.
