Eight abducted victims from Kangon Sabuwa village in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara state, has been rescued by the Zamfara State Police Command.
The Spokesperson for the command in a statement on Monday, revealed that the victims who were abducted bandits in August were rescued safely by the police without paying any ransome
“The abducted victims were medically checked by the medical officials, debriefed by the Police and reunited with their families.” he stated.
The Zamfara State Police Commissioner, CP Ayuba N. Elkana, who disclosed that the command in collaboration with other sister security agencies stressed that they are applying different search and rescue pattern that will lead to the unconditional rescue of other victims.
Meanwhile, the CP had called on members of the public to work with the police and other security agencies in an effort to restore lasting peace and security in the state.
